I'm Chris Dickens. Since 2010, I've had the privilege of officiating more than 700 weddings throughout Southern California, including hundreds across Los Angeles County.
Long before I officiated my first wedding, I served as a pastor, worked professionally as a stand-up comedian, and built a career speaking and teaching.
Those experiences taught me how to connect with people from all walks of life, how to lead with compassion and presence, how to read a room, and how to deliver something meaningful. The result is a ceremony that is heartfelt without feeling stiff, meaningful without feeling heavy, and genuinely funny without ever losing sight of what matters most.

Yes. I regularly officiate weddings throughout Los Angeles County, including Beverly Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach, Long Beach, Calabasas, Pasadena, and surrounding communities.
Can you officiate at our venue?
In most cases, yes. I've officiated weddings at many of Los Angeles' most popular venues, and I'm always happy to coordinate with venues that are new to me.
Do you perform religious and non-religious ceremonies?
Yes. I officiate religious, secular, spiritual, interfaith, and non-denominational weddings, always tailoring the ceremony to each couple.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book several months in advance, especially for spring and fall Saturdays, but I occasionally have last-minute availability.
